WESTMINSTER, MD- The Hood College women's soccer team was outmatched on the road by the Green Terror of McDaniel College, losing 2-0 on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened
 
The Blazers started out the game not hitting on all cylinders, allowing McDaniel a shot at goal in the first six minutes. McDaniel broke the game open with the first goal of the day, falling early 1-0. Only seven minutes after the first goal, McDaniel didn't take their foot off the gas and struck again, 2-0.
 
The Blazers started the second half unable to find their stride offensively forcing multiple corners. However, Marlie DeRenzis (Scranton, Pa./North Pocono) was able to hold off the McDaniel offense, stopping 11 shots on goal. The Blazers unfortunately could not get the spark going offensively, falling 2-0 by the end of the second half.
 
For the Opponent
 
Alaina Miller led the team in goals with two, on two shots.
Josie Scanlon gained one assist.

The Blazers fall to 1-2-0 on the season.
McDaniel advances to 2-0-2 on the year.
