TIMONIUM, Md. – The women's golf team took on a friendly dual against Stevenson at the Fox Hollow Match and took down the Mustangs by 19 strokes to get in some quality time on the green at the Fox Hollow Golf Course on Friday afternoon.
On the Scorecards
Keira Corcoran (Queenstown, Md./Queen Anne's County) marked a personal best and tied for second with her 83 on the round. Corcoran birdied on both sides of the turn to land one stroke off the lead.
Olivia Kamieniarz (Big Sky, Mon./Lone Peak) continues a solid autumn by sharing second place with Corcoran with an 82 of her own. Her round was built on a 40 on the front nine with a birdie on Hole 3 to cruise to the podium.
Sophia Stultz (Elk Township, N.J./Our Lady of Mercy Academy) lands in fourth with her personal best of 84, staying steady on both nines.
Eliza Somji (Calgary, Alberta, Can./) in her first collegiate round places tied for sixth and birdied the 151 yard Hole 13.
Delaney Hench (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) followed with a score inside 100 to notch her first collegiate round and boasted a Hole 16 birdie.
Emily White (Fredericksburg, Va./Colonial Forge) rounds out the group as the only member to birdie Hole 14 and finish with a 92 for her 18-hole score.
On the Leaderboard
Isabella Ventura of Stevenson shot an 82 to take the top spot in the individual leaderboard.
Hood finishes with a 349 on the day to take the top spot in a small field.
