PHILADELPHIA, Pa.--Junior Laurie Burrier scored seven goals and
added four assists to lead Hood College to a season-opening 16-12
win over host Chestnut Hill College in Atlantic Women's Colleges
Conference lacrosse action Wednesday afternoon.
The Blazers (1-0, 1-0 AWCC) also received three goals and three
assists from senior Laura Pitts and three goals and an assist from
freshman Liz Rakowski.
Sophomore Christa Lundskow found the net twice, while senior
Annie Lavery had one goal and two assists.
Sophomore Lauren Lieb made seven saves in goal for the Blazers.
Hood returns to action Friday when it visits Villa Julie College
for a non-conference game beginning at 4 p.m.
