Parrish Nets Hat Trick in 10-0 Shutout of Gallaudet

WASHINGTON, D.C.--Junior Jessica Parrish became the second Blazer to record a hat trick this season as the Hood College women's soccer team (4-8, 2-3 CAC) routed Gallaudet University 10-0 Saturday in a Capital Athletic Conference game.

Parrish became the ninth player in Hood women's soccer history to register a hat trick and the second this season, joining teammate Nikki Antallfy, who accomplished the feat against Wilson College.

Freshmen Alexa Hubicki and Cara Jordan each netted a pair of goals while sophomore Brittany Hurt and freshmen Katherine Rendon and Jenna Burns all contributed single tallies for Hood, as the Blazers amassed 49 shots on the afternoon. Hood also tied the school record for goals in a game for the second time this season (Wilson, 9/18).

Hood returns to the pitch Tuesday against CAC foe Mary Washington at 4 p.m. at Thomas Athletic Field.
