Lebanon Valley Downs Blazers, 63-31

ANNVILLE, Pa.--The Hood College women's basketball team (2-11) dropped a 63-31 decision to the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen (13-0) Tuesday in nonconference action.

The Dutchmen built a sizeable first-half advantage, hitting 14-of-31 from the floor and limiting the Blazers to three field goals in the first 20 minutes, and led 43-10 at the break.

Hood outscored LVC by one in the final 20 minutes, 21-20, but the deficit was too much to overcome.

Sophomore Jen Willison scored a team-high 12 points, including 8-of-10 from the foul line, and hauled in nine caroms.

Lebanon Valley, a team which received votes in the latest D3Hoops.com Top 25 poll, remained undefeated on the season. Lori Lidlow connected on 6-of-8 from the floor for a game-high 14 points.

The Blazers return to action Wednesday hosting Trinity University (D.C.) at Gambrill Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
