ANNVILLE, Pa.--The Hood College women's basketball team (2-11)
dropped a 63-31 decision to the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen
(13-0) Tuesday in nonconference action.
The Dutchmen built a sizeable first-half advantage, hitting
14-of-31 from the floor and limiting the Blazers to three field
goals in the first 20 minutes, and led 43-10 at the break.
Hood outscored LVC by one in the final 20 minutes, 21-20, but
the deficit was too much to overcome.
Sophomore Jen Willison scored a team-high 12 points, including
8-of-10 from the foul line, and hauled in nine caroms.
Lebanon Valley, a team which received votes in the latest
D3Hoops.com Top 25 poll, remained undefeated on the season. Lori
Lidlow connected on 6-of-8 from the floor for a game-high 14
points.
The Blazers return to action Wednesday hosting Trinity
University (D.C.) at Gambrill Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
