FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College women's tennis team (6-4, 2-3 CAC) lost to York College (Pa.) (4-9, 3-3 CAC) by a count of 5-4 but rebounded to earn a decisive 8-1 victory over Wilson College Friday at the Baker Park Tennis Courts.

Steph Garrett earned singles victories in both matches to improve to 7-2 on the season. Christine Ocampos-Barry and Larisa Buriak registered wins at first doubles in both matches as well to up their record to 6-2 overall.

Hood travels to the University of Mary Washington Sunday.
