OWINGS MILLS, Md.--The Hood College women's basketball team
(3-13, 1-6 CAC) lost to the Stevenson University Mustangs (4-12,
2-5 CAC), 59-29, Wednesday evening in a Capital Athletic Conference
contest.
Stevenson broke open a 12-12 tie with a 14-1 over the final 7:29
of the first half and maintained its double-figure advantage in the
second half.
Allyson Lethbridge paced the Blazers with 13 points, two blocks
and two steals. Jessica Parrish netted eight points and a team-high
13 rebounds while Brianna Raithel and Bridgette Ringley chipped in
three points apiece. Hood dressed only five players for this
contest.
Hood returns to Gov. Thomas Johnson High School Saturday hosting
Salisbury University at 2 p.m.
