WASHINGTON, D.C.--The Hood College women's tennis team (7-9)
dropped just three games in 12 sets in a lopsided 7-2 victory over
Trinity University (D.C.) (2-9) Friday afternoon.
The Blazers traveled with only five players but had little
trouble with the Tigers, surrendering the only two points of the
match on forfeits.
Jillian Elkaim, Emily Maerz and Casey Miller did not drop a
single game in their singles contests. Additionally, the second
doubles team of Maerz and Danielle Hunt romped over Paola Flores
