YORK, Pa.--The Hood College women's lacrosse team (3-8, 0-5 CAC) fell to the York College (Pa.) Spartans (10-2, 4-2 CAC) by a margin of 21-0 in a Capital Athletic Conference contest Saturday.

Hood managed just two shots on the afternoon, one apiece by Kelsey Blackwell and Caitlin Lawrence. Helene Butler faced 35 shots by the Spartans and turned away seven attempts. The Blazers also won seven draws.

YCP's Kim Wayson racked up seven points on four goals and three assists while Kerri Nicolich tallied four scores as well.

Hood travels to the College of Notre Dame (Md.) Monday for a 4:30 p.m. makeup contest from March 24.
