FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College women's tennis team (4-10) won four singles matches and two doubles contests en route to a 6-3 nonconference victory over visiting Trinity University (D.C.) Wednesday at Baker Park.

The No. 1 doubles duo of Emily Maerz and Emily Schrodel knocked off Rebecca Auleus and Paola Flores, 8-0, while Laura Saad and Casey Miller dispatched Lakia Meriwether and Sheila Jean-Baptiste, 8-0, at second doubles.

Maerz, Schrodel and Miller also scored straight set singles wins while Mabie Tun outlasted Flores at the No. 4 spot, 6-1, 3-6, 10-8.

The Blazers travel to Wilson College next Wednesday for their season finale at 4 p.m.
