FREDERICK, Md. --The Hood College women's tennis team (3-6, 1-3 CAC) fell to visiting Capital Athletic Conference foe, Salisbury University (11-2, 5-1 CAC), by a score of 8-1 Saturday afternoon.
Hood's lone victory came from a doubles match when Emily Maerz and Emily Schrodel teamed up to defeat Elaina Iosue and Angela Tenaglia, 8-6.
Hood hits the road tomorrow for another conference matchup. The Blazers travel to Frostburg State University Sunday for a match that was rescheduled from March 27. The action begins at 1 p.m.
