FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's tennis team fell to Catholic in the team's season opener, 9-0.

In doubles action, the first doubles pairing of Olivia Hosch and Rachel Hall fought hard, but fell to Elaina Sceusa and Elaina Martinez, 8-5.

Mabie Tun took a pair of games in each set, but fell 6-2, 6-2 to Isabel Tanco at fourth singles.

The Blazers will seek their first win of the season when Division II Shepherd visits Hood on September 16.
