FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College volleyball team fell in three sets at York (Pa.) in non-conference action.

Set scores were 25-14, 25-15, 25-16.

Hayley Rogers (Sandwich, Ill. / Brunswick (Md.)) led the Blazers with five points on three kills and three blocks (one solo). Amy Hagerdon (Berryville, Va. / Clarke County) and Addie Roop (New Windsor, Md. / Francis Scott Key) matched Rogers with three kills apiece. Hagerdon added a team-high eight digs and a block. Allie Donoghue (Owings, Md. / Bishop McNamara) also had a block.

For the Spartans, Ijeoma Igwe had a match-high 11 kills. 

Hood stays on the road for a match at Mary Washington on September 21.
