FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College dropped a Commonwealth Conference contest to Messiah, 9-0, this afternoon.

Mable Tun (Frederick, Md. / Frederick) and Olivia Hosch (Newport, R.I. / Cushing Academy) had the closest matches in third and first singles, respectively. Tun dropped the first set 6-3, and fell in the second 6-4 to Jen Kitlan. Hosch lost to Erin Ipsen 6-3, 6-2. 

In first doubles, Hosch and Sandra Dziadas (Long Pond, Pa. / Pocono Mountain West) fell to Ispen and Eileen Barker 8-4 in the closet doubles set of the match. 

The Blazers travel to take on St. Mary's (Md.) on April 4.
