Hood Grounded by Falcons

GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Hood College women's lacrosse team dropped a Commonwealth Conference contest at Messiah, 16-0.

Lauren Couch (Crownsville, Md. / Old Mill) made 10 saves in goal and added season-highs of 10 ground balls and four caused turnovers. Jade Locklear (Baltimore, Md. / Chesapeake) picked up four ground balls and Danielle Roberts (Baltimore, Md. / Patapsco) caused two turnovers. 

While Hood forced 25 Messiah turnovers, the second highest total for the Falcons this year, the Blazers committed 35 miscues themselves.

Madi Brunk and Clair Stikeleather had four points each in the game for Messiah. Brunk had two goals and two assists, while Stikeleather aided on three scores and found the back of the net once. Michelle Krenzke had two goals and four ground balls. Clair Griffin had four draw controls and Sam Brennan caused four turnovers. 

Hood hosts Stevenson on April 8.
