FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College's Meaghan Donahue (Walkersville, Md. / Walkersville) pulled out a win at sixth singles to clinch the Blazers' 5-4 win over Albright in Commonwealth Conference action.

The victory improved Hood to 2-0 in conference play.

Aubrey Fetters (Frostburg, Md. / Bishop Walsh) and Sandra Dziadas (Walkersville, Md. / Walkersville) paired up for the Blazers only doubles win against Amanda Camporeale and Christina Peacock, 8-6.

Dziadas also topped Erin Sullivan 6-1, 6-1 at third singles.

Fetters had a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Amanda Camporeale at fourth singles. At fifth singles, Smith had a 6-4, 6-0 win over Christina Peacock. Donahue's victory for the Hood win came against Leah Wiley, 6-3, 6-2.

Michelle Shedd (Middletown, Md. / Middletown) won the first set at second singles against Carberry, 6-4, but dropped the final two sets 6-4, 7-6. 

Hood plays Southern Virginia at home, tomorrow April 3.
