FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College dropped a Commonwealth Conference game to Stevenson, 20-1.

Shay Braithwaite (Montgomery Village, Md. / Watkins Mill) scored the lone goal for the Blazers and added two ground balls and one draw control. Jade Locklear (Baltimore, Md. / Chesapeake) had three draw controls and two ground balls. Derian Le (Frederick, Md. / Gov. Thomas Johnson) grabbed two ground balls and Anne Lessard (Natick, Mass. / Natick) caused two turnovers. Lauren Couch (Crownsville, Md. / Old Mill) stopped 10 shots in goal.

The Mustangs opened up the first half with a nine-goal run with 16:58 remaining. Halfway through the period, Braithwaite scored off a pass from Aleyna Fitz (Brunswick, Md. / Brunswick) to make it 9-1.

Stevenson closed out the game with an 11-goal run, for a final score of 20-1.

The Mustangs' Tori Wagner accounted for six goals in the game and two assists. Brady Heher and Olivia Monteiro eached notched three goals. Carli Bafford had four draw controls and Kathryn Merrick also added four draw controls and four ground balls. In goal, Gabrielle Brooks had five saves.

The Blazers look for a win against Alvernia on April 11 at 1 p.m.
