FREDERICK, Md. -- The Hood College women's tennis team host York College (Pa.) on September 18 at 3:30 p.m.

SCOUTING HOOD
This is the season opener for the Blazers, who finished last year with a record of 5-10, and 3-3 in Commonwealth Conference play. Sophomore Sophie Smith (Freeport, Maine/ Freeport) returns with a 5-4 record, and Seniors Olivia Hosch (Newport R.I./ Cushing Academy) and Aubrey Fetters (Frostburg, Md./ Bishop Walsh) return with 5-9 and 4-8 records respectively.

SCOUTING YORK (Pa.)
The Spartans were 5-11 last season, and 2-5 in the Capital Athletic Conference.

Sophomore Katie Wagner returns with a 10-2 record last year, while Mckenzie Krout returns with a 5-8 record last year.
