DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - Hood College's Olivia Hosch (Newport, R.I. / Cushing Academy) and Michelle Shedd (Middletown, Md. / Middletown) each won twice to lead the Blazers to a 5-4 win at Delaware Valley.

The two teamed up in doubles action to take an 8-2 final over Jess Oszvart and Allie Vaccaro at first doubles. 

Hosch defeated Oszvart again at first singles, 6-1, 6-0. At second singles, Shedd was a 6-3, 6-4 winner over Mel Mayhew. 

Hood's other victories came at second doubles and fifth singles. Aubrey Fetters (Frostburg, Md. / Bishop Walsh) and Meaghan Donahue (Walkersville, Md. / Walkersville) paired up for an 8-2 win against Mayhew and Natalie Hoffman. Bianca Hoch (Frederick, Md. / Urbana) scored her first career win, a 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 victory over Magen Moore.

The Blazers host Catholic on September 30.
