ANNVILLE, Pa. - Hood College could not overcome a cold shooting night, falling to Lebanon Valley in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play, 66-33.

Alexis Andrukat (Smithsburg, Md. / Smithsburg) had 11 points and six rebounds. She was 5-of-6 at the free throw line. Verkia Smith (Waldorf, Md. / North Point) grabbed six boards and added three steals. 

The Blazers pulled within 23-17 with four minutes, 52 seconds left in the second period, but the Dutchmen stretched the lead to 30-18 at the half.

Lebanon Valley put the game away with a 25-7 run that extended into the fourth quarter.

Lexie Lantz led the Dutchmen with 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Hilary Yoh and Kiely Chiaklos added 10 points apiece. Chiaklos dished out four assists. Peyton Carper and Jennifer Eck had six rebounds apiece.

Hood shot just 22 percent in the contest, compared to 39 percent for Lebanon Valley. 

The Blazers host Albright on Senior Day on January 30 at 1 p.m. at BB&T Arena.
