ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Hood College dropped a non-conference women's tennis match at Eastern, 6-0.

Olivia Hosch (Newport, R.I. / Cushing Academy) and Michelle Shedd (Middletown, Md. / Middletown) battled at first doubles, but fell 8-6 to Kelly Archibald and Amanda Riiff. 

Shedd took four games from Archibald at second singles, but lost 6-3, 6-1. Kristin Histand (Charlottesville, Va. / Miller School of Albemarle) made her singles debut, playing at No. 4, but fell to Leslie Henry 6-0, 6-1. 

The Blazers travel to Lebanon Valley on Apr. 23.
