ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Hood College women's lacrosse team fell at Lebanon Valley in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play, 17-1.

Christina Murphy (Denville, N.J. / Morris Knolls) had the Blazers' only goal. Anne Lessard (Natick, Mass. / Natick) had three ground balls and three caused turnovers. Lauren Couch (Crownsville, Md. / Old Mill) made 10 saves. Jade Locklear (Baltimore, Md. / Chesapeake) had three draw controls. 

Either Emma Jones or Tori Kuntz had a hand in LVC's first eight scores as the Dutchmen pulled away early. Jones scored the first three goals of the game and assisted on the fourth. Kuntz fed Sam Boyce twice before making it 7-0 with her first score of the day.

Murphy scored with eight minutes and 32 seconds left in the contest on a free position shot. 

Jones had four goals, two assists, three draw controls and three caused turnovers. Kuntz scored two goals and assisted on two others. Shelby Morris made four saves. 

Hood committed just 11 turnovers in the game, only one more than Lebanon Valley.

The Blazers travel to Albright on Apr. 9.
