FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 final to Catholic.

How it Happened

• Megan Carter continued her strong fall with a hand in both points. She teamed with Michelle Shedd for an 8-0 win over Lauren Edwards and Colleen McLaughlin at first doubles. Carter then won 7-5, 6-1 over Edwards. 
• Skylar Wright had a close call at third singles, taking Colleen McLaughlin to three sets before McLaughlin won 6-3, 2-6, 10-4.
