FREDERICK, Md.- The Hood College women's basketball team fell to the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College 74-55.

Inside the Box Score

• Denisha Robinson led the Blazers with 16 points, all of which came in the second half.
• Maggie Tien added nine points for Hood.
• Mia Savoy chipped in with eight points and eight boards.
• Ebony Pitt had four assists.

How it Happened

• The Chargers held a 9-8 lead with 3:41 left in the first quarter before using a 9-2 run to end the period making the score 18-10.
• Lancaster Bible used a 13-2 run to push the lead to 31-12 just over halfway through the second quarter. The Chargers held a 42-25 halftime lead.
• Hood came out of the halftime break and immediately trimmed the lead to 12 after two straight buckets by Robinson.
• The Blazers pulled within 11 twice, on pairs of free throws by Tamiya  Ford a 3:00 and 1:53 of the third quarter, but could get no closer.

Notes

• Courtney Goyak controlled the paint with 24 rebounds to go along with 14 points, five assists, and three steals for the Chargers.
• Caitlin Hickey notched 22 points and Kirsten Webster added 21 points of her own.
• The Blazers committed just 15 turnovers compared to LBC's 19.
