GRANTHAM, Pa.- Hood College could not keep up with the shooting of No. 12 Messiah, falling in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth opener 17-3.

• Locklear broke up the streak with a goal for Hood (4-5, 0-1) at 8:49 in the first. Messiah led 11-1 at the half.
• The Falcons opened the second half with four goals.
• Slater scored for the Blazers at 19:25 in the second. Phoubandith added a score with 4:14 to play.
