Box Score TOWSON, Md. - The Hood College women's lacrosse team held Goucher to just two goals over the final 53 minutes and 39 seconds in a 17-5 win over the Gophers.

How it Happened
- Goucher came out ready, scoring three goals in the first 6:21 to put Hood in an early hole.
- A free position goal by Murphy with 21:19 left in the half started the Blazers' rally. Another score by Murphy gave Hood the lead, 4-3, with 13:05 to go. Locklear scored back-to-back goals to end the half for an 8-3 lead.
- The Blazers scored the first three goals of the second half before the Gophers ended a scoring drought of 36:45. Another goal by Goucher cut the lead to 11-5, but Locklear again scored back-to-back to start a six-goal run to end the game. Slater scored three of the final four goals to finish the win.

- Shannon Stull scored three times for Goucher. Bridget Den Boer made 11 saves.
