FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 final to visiting Frostburg State. 

How it Happened

• The Blazers' lone point came from a victory by Bianca Hoch at second singles. She won 6-1, 6-0 over Kennedy Logsdon. 
• Michelle Shedd battled through a hard-fought first set at first singles, but ultimately fell 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 against Kate Paylor.
