FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's lacrosse dropped a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth match on Senior Day to Lebanon Valley 16-2. 

Before the game, the Blazers recognized seniors Allie Appleby, Shay Braithwaite and Christina Murphy for their contributions to the program.

• Rylie Benoit-Nobis made 11 saves, caused four turnovers and had four ground balls. 
• Kara Phoubandith assisted on both goals. 
• Rachel Slater scored Hood's first goal and notched four ground balls and two caused turnovers. 
• Jade Locklear added a goal and two draw controls. 

How it Happened

• The Dutchmen scored five goals in the opening nine minutes, including three by Makenzie Kelley to take command of the game. 
• Slater put Hood on the board with 20:38 left in the half to make it 5-1. 
• After two more goals by LVC, Locklear made it 7-2 with 7:19 to go in the half. 
• Lebanon Valley added one more before halftime to make it 8-2 at the break. 

Notes

• Kelley had six goals and two assists for the Dutchmen, while Emma Jones added three goals and four assists. Hannah Oliveras made four saves.
