GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Hood College women's lacrosse team fell 12-6 at Arcadia in the season finale for both squads.

• Kara Phoubandith and Christina Murphy scored two goals apiece. Phoubandith became just the third player in school history to score 40 goals in a season. 
• Rachel Slater had five draw controls, while Shay Braithwaite added three. 
• Rylie Benoit-Nobis made 10 saves. 

How it Happened

• Hood led 1-0 after Murphy scored just over five minutes into the action. The lead stood for over 10 minutes until Arcadia scored back-to-back goals to take a 2-1 edge with 10:13 left in the half. 
• Phoubandith's first goal of the day tied the game at 2-2 with 9:14 left in the half, but the Knights scored five times in the final five minutes to lead 7-2 at halftime. 
• Arcadia stretched the lead to 11-3 with 14:44 to play before Hood made up ground with a 3-1 spurt to end the game.

• Allegra Benites had three goals and three assists, while Erin Misner added two goals and four assists. 
• Liz Stierle stopped 14 shots.
