FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's tennis team picked up a win at first singles but lost the match to Lebanon Valley 8-1 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.

How it Happened

• Michelle Shedd and Meaghan Donahue teamed up for an 8-5 victory over Maria Scacchitti and Melanie Haas at first doubles.
• Shedd had the closest call in singles but fell to Scacchitti 6-2, 6-4.
