FREDERICK, Md.- The Hood College women's basketball team fell to the visiting Stevenson Mustangs 67-41.

How it Happened

• Hood trailed 14-10 in the first period before a 15-7 run by Stevenson gave the Mustangs a 29-17 edge at the break.
• Stevenson came out of the halftime break on a 15-4 run that was halted by a jump shot from Savoy with 4:29 left in the third quarter to put the score at 44-21.
• After a 50-25 score after three periods, Hood was not able to cut the lead as both teams traded baskets in the fourth quarter.

• Jonyae Curry led the Mustangs with a game-high 19 points and eight rebounds.
• Olivia Coleman added 14 boards.
• Kristine Tennyson and Brandi Hall contributed five assists apiece.
