FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's tennis team scored its first victory of the season with a 7-2 win over visiting Trinity Washington. 

How it Happened

• None of the Blazers' five competitors dropped a single game in either singles or doubles. Megan Carter, Skylar Wright, Jennifer Slick, Abbey Bloom and Iqra Rafiq won by matching 6-0, 6-0 scores at first through fourth singles, respectively. 
• Carter and Wright teamed for an 8-0 win at first doubles, while Slick and Bloom matched them at second doubles. 

Notes

• The wins for Bloom and Rafiq were the first career wins for the newcomers.
