READING, Pa. - Hood College opened up conference play against a strong Albright team who outscored the Blazers 19-4.

• Slater got the Blazers on the board after a converted free position shot at the 21:26 mark, as the Blazers trailed 2-1.
• The Lions scored the following six goals until another successful free position shot from Slater put the score at 8-2 with 4:49 left in the half.
• Albright tallied three more goals before the break for an 11-2 halftime lead.
• The Lions opened up the half with five more goals.
• O'Neill and Slater recorded a goal apiece late down the stretch.
