OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Hood College's Megan Carter won at second singles and second doubles to account for both of the Blazers' points in a 7-2 loss at Stevenson in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play. 

How it Happened

• Carter teamed with Skylar Wright for an 8-2 victory at second doubles over Kirstyn Davidson and Megan Waskiewicz. 
• The momentum carried over to singles play for Carter, where she picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win over Davidson at second singles. 
• Sophie Smith won the first set at third singles against Kelsi Mentzer before falling 4-6, 7-5, 10-3.
