FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College tennis team fell to Lycoming 8-1 in a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth match. 

Before play commenced, seniors Michelle Shedd and Sophie Smith were honored for their contributions to the program. 

How it Happened

• Skylar Wright earned the Blazers only point with a 6-3, 6-1 win at fourth singles. 
• She and Megan Carter nearly picked up a point in their match at second doubles but ultimately fell 9-8 (7-2) to Kaitlin Hallabuk and Julia Nagle.

Hood finishes its season 3-8 overall and 2-5 in the MAC Commonwealth.
