FREDERICK, Md.- The Hood College women's tennis team dropped a compeition with the Frostburg State Bobcats by a score of 3-6 in the season opener for both teams.

How it Happened

• Megan Carter and Skylar Wright notched a win at first doubles for the Blazers with a 9-7 victory over Kate Paylor and Jenna Lipinski.
• Carter also added a point in first singles with a win over Lipinski 6-3, 6-2.
• Wright won at second singles with a 6-0, 6-3 vcitory over Sammi Turner.
