GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Hood College women's tennis team saw its four-match win streak come to an end in its Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth opener at Arcadia 8-1. 

Singles

• Megan Carter was Hood's sole winner, claiming a 6-3, 6-4 win at first singles over Tess Weber. 
• At second singles, Skylar Wright battled Julia Paraboschi to three sets before falling 2-6, 6-2, 10-3. 

Doubles

• Carter and Wright at first doubles and Jennifer Slick and Abbey Bloom at second doubles fell by matching 8-3 finals. 

Notes

• The Blazers fell to 4-3 on the year.
