GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Hood College women's tennis team fell 8-0 at Messiah in a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth match. 

Doubles

• Megan Carter and Skylar Wright tested the Falcons' Kaitlyn Russell and Emily Wichert before the Messiah duo picked up an 8-6 win.

Singles

• Wright and Wichert split the first two sets at second singles before Wichert scored the win 6-3, 4-6, 10-1. 
• The match at first singles was incomplete due to rain with both Carter and Russell taking a set. Carter won the first set 7-5 before Russell won set two 6-2. 

Notes

• Hood finishes the year 4-9 overall and 0-6 in the MAC Commonwealth.
