FREDERICK, Md.- The Hood College women's tennis team fell to the Stevenson Mustangs 7-2 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

Doubles

• Hood's duo of Megan Carter and Skylar Wright captured a victory at first doubles over Jenna Skove and Nina Bretz by a score of 8-7 (7-5).
• Jennifer Slick and Abbey Bloom fell at second doubles to Stevenson's Kirstyn Davidson and Jacquelyn Nesbeth 8-3.

Singles

• Carter recorded Hood's other point with a 6-4, 6-3 win at first singles over Skove.
• Slick and Bloom fell to Bretz and Nesbeth at third and fourth singles by matching scores of 6-4, 6-1.

Notes

• Hood drops to 4-6, 0-3 in the MAC.
• Stevenson goes to 7-3, 3-0 in the conference.
