FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's tennis team fell just short in a match against St. Mary's by a score of 6-3.

Doubles

• The duo of Megan Carter and Skylar Wright were victorious at first doubles winning 8-0. 

Singles

• At first singles, Carter took Claire Bodine to three sets but ultimately fell 2-6, 7-5, 6-2.
• Wright lost her first set in a tie-breaker but fought back to win in three sets 6-7, 6-2, 6-2.
• Abbey Bloom defeated Brooke Oliver at sixth singles 7-5, 6-1.

Notes

• Hood's record is now 1-1.
• St. Mary's is 1-2.
