WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - Hood College's Megan Carter and Skylar Wright fell to the top-seeded team from Wilkes at first doubles at the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships.
Doubles
- Carter and Wright were defeated by number one seeded Dasha Yakhnis and Francesca Varela-Seri. The winners from Wilkes will advance to the first doubles championship, later today.
Notes
- Carter and Wright, seeded fourth, defeated Stevenson's duo of Jenna Skove and Kelsi Mentzer 8-7 (5) in the first round. The pair moved on to the quarterfinals, where they picked up an 8-3 victory over Emily Fernandez and Alexis Zalutko of King's.
- The duo of Katie Cautero and Abbey Bloom fell 8-2 in the first round against Kirsten Kosa and Bailey Greco of DeSales.
