WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Hood College women's tennis team closed out the fall season with a 8-0 loss against the Catholic University Cardinals. 

Singles 

• Hanna Scali blanked Cautero 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.  
• Catholic's Aubree Barus was a 6-2,6-0 winner at second singles against Josephine Sasse. 
• Josie Cost swept Riley Cowperthwaite at No.3 singles and Kathleen O'Connell defeated Blair 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles. 

Doubles

• The Blazers first doubles duo of Sasse and Cowperthwaite fell against Catholic's Sali and Stambaugh 8-0. 
• The duo of Cautero and Blair were defeated by O'Connell and Brightwell 8-3 at second doubles.
