Women's lacrosse falls on the road

Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Hood College women's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference contest on the road to Stevenson 13-4. 

Inside the Box Score How it Happened
  • Skorobatsch scored with 23:01 left in the first half to tie the score at 1-1. 
  • A pair of goals by Hannah Huff followed for the Mustangs to start a nine-goal run that carried into the second half. 
  • Stevenson led 8-1 at halftime and added two more scores before O'Neill fed Skorobatsch to stop the run with 18:24 to go in the game to make it 10-2. 
  • After three scores by Stevenson, late goals by O'Neill and Tenley Reeder capped the scoring. 
Analysis
  • The Mustangs held a 32-17 advantage in shots and won the ground ball battle 17-10. 
  • Draw controls were virtually even with Stevenson holding a slim 10-9 margin.
