Men’s cross country races at Dickinson Long/Short Invitational

NEWVILLE, Pa. - The Hood College men's cross country team placed 11th at the Dickinson Long/ Short Invitational.

On the Course

Levi Davis led the way for the Blazers' finishing in 45th on the 4,000-meter course with a time of 14:01.8.
Grayson Whitesell crossed the line in 14:37.07, placing 67th.
Thomas Kasanicky was 74th in 14:47.9, and Liam McGlinchey finished in 94th with a time of 15:54.9.
Fernando Lopez-Chilel came in 123rd in 17:19.6, and Marcellus McKenzie followed in 126th place with a time of 17:35.1.

Notes

Shippensburg University produced the individual champion. The first year, Hayden Hunt, finished the course in 12:31.7 to secure the Raiders to third place.
The hosting school, Dickinson University, won the team title. Dickinson's 14 points won the team title. The scoring system at the meet included each team's top three finishers instead of the standard five-runner scoring.
Hood finished 11th overall with 130 points.
While the Blazers competed in the short race at Dickinson, a women's 8,000-meter was also contested.
