BRIDGEWATER, Va. -  The Hood College women's volleyball team fell to both Bridgewater (Va.) and Catholic by matching 3-0 scores. 
Set Scores
	- The Eagles defeated the Blazers 25-10, 25-21, 25-20. 
- The Cardinals claimed a 25-17, 25-19, 25-20 over Hood. 
Inside the Box Score
	- Over the two matches, Caitlin Ambruster (Fleetwood, PA/Brandywine Heights) had 15 total kills. 
- Jackie Malitzki (Allentown, PA/Parkland) totaled 38 assists and four service aces on the day. 
- Staci Kutzler (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) had 15 total digs. 
Bridgewater 3, Hood 0
	- Bridgewater used a 13-1 run midway through the first set to take a 21-8 lead. 
- In the second set, Hood came out quickly, leading 6-0 before the Eagles erased it with a 9-2 run. 
- A kill by Ambruster capped a four-point spurt that reclaimed the lead 12-9 for the Blazers. 
- After Bridgewater went ahead 19-14, Hood tied the score with five straight points, including a pair of aces from Malitzki. 
- The Eagles closed the second set with a 6-2 run to take 2-0 lead in the match. 
- Hood led 14-11 in the third set before an 11-3 run gave Bridgewater the lead for good. 
- Shane Simms (Baltimore, MD/Sparrows Point) finished with four kills in eight attacks. 
- Kylie Robinson led all players with nine kills for the Eagles. 
- Grace Hayes was credited with 21 assists and Sophia Stites tallied 14 digs. 
Catholic 3, Hood 0
	- A 5-1 run that included two Ambruster kills put the Blazers ahead 8-7 in the opening set. 
- Catholic reclaimed the lead and held a 16-12 advantage before Hood rattled off four straight points, including an ace from Kutzler, to tie the set. 
- Brynne Burgess had back-to-back service aces during a 9-1 run to end the set as the Cardinals went up 1-0. 
- A kill by Wright and a Malitzki ace brought the Blazers within 22-19 in the second set before Catholic scored the final three points for the victory. 
- Hood used a 5-1 run in set three to pull within 10-9 but the Cardinals scored the next six points to put the set out of reach. 
- Halie Murphy had 10 kills and Sydney Shepherd passed out 28 assists in the match for Catholic.
