YORK, Pa. - The Hood College women's lacrosse team fell on the road to No. 13 York in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

How it Happened
- The Spartans took a commanding early lead with four goals in the first five minutes of action. Gianna Huet scored a pair of goals, while Teresa Matthias and Chloe MacDonald had one goal each.
- Hood's Lyons found the back of the net at the make it 4-1 with 7:41 remaining.
- A free position goal by the Spartans' Huet at the 6:10 mark started a 5-0 run to push York ahead 9-1 with 23 seconds remaining in the first quarter. Macdonald and Huet scored a pair of goals, while Riley Roeder added one goal.
