ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - The Hood College women's lacrosse team became the sixth team in Blazer history to record five regular season wins with a 19-11 win at Eastern University in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.

- Four players scored three goals to lead the Blazers. Mackenzie Demaio (Urbana, MD/Coronado (Calif.)), Laura Skorobatsch (Pasadena, MD/Northeast), Liz Connelly (Easton, MD/Easton), and Abby Burnette (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom) finished with three goals apiece. Skorobatsch added a team-high three assists, while Demaio had four caused turnovers. Connelly notched a team-high six draw controls.

How it Happened
- Hood got going early with three goals in the first five minutes of action. Connelly scored all three goals with the first goal at the 12:11 mark, the second at the 10:36 mark and her third came just 12 seconds later.
- Eastern's Caitlyn Quizon halted the run with an unassisted goal to make it 3-1 with 9:50 left in the first quarter.
- Just over two minutes later, Hood's Wright found the back of the net to extend the Blazers lead 4-1 with 7:16 remaining.
- After goals by Eastern's Cecelia Wilson and Hailey Ferry pulled the Eagles within a goal, 4-3 with 6:33 left in the first.
- At 2:51, Hood's Wright found Demaio to make the score 5-3 to head into the second quarter.
- The Blazers continued the momentum with a pair of goals in the first three minutes of the second quarter to extend the lead to 7-3. Juralewicz scored off a man-up opportunity with an assist by Skorobatsch at the 13:58 mark. With 12:39 remaining, Skorobatsch found her first goal of the game.
- Just 10 seconds later, the Eagles answered with a goal by Quizon to make it 7-4.
- The Blazers went on a 6-1 run to push Hood ahead 13-5 heading into halftime. Lyons scored the first goal at the 7:50 mark. Then, Wright capitalized on a free position goal with 6:45 remaining.
- After a goal by Demaio at 5:39, Eastern's Quizon halted the run with her third goal. Demaio found her final goal of the game with 3:10 remaining. At the 3:42 mark, Burnette scored her first goal in the run then capped the scoring with the final Hood goal at 53 seconds.
- After a goal by Eastern's Cecelia Wilson with 12:55 left, neither team scored again for over five minutes in the third quarter. With 7:52 to go, Connelly found Skorobatsch to extend the Blazer lead 14-6.
- Eastern answered with back-to-back goals to make it 14-8 with 5:10 remaining in the third.
- Hood's Lyons and Stanley dashed the Eagles' hope with goals to lead 16-8 going into the final quarter. Skorobatsch found Lyons at the 4:45 mark while Stanley scored a man-down goal with 2 minutes left in the third quarter.
- The Blazers scored a pair of goals to push the third quarter score 18-8 with 12:02 remaining in the fourth. Burnette scored the first goal with 12:46 left, Stanley found the back of the net just 44 seconds later.
- After a goal by Hood's Skorobatsch at 4:24, the Eagles went on a 3-0 run, but it was too little too late as the Blazers secured the 19-11 victory.

- Ferry and Quizon ended the day with a hat trick to lead the Eagles. Quizon had the team-high three assists.
- Wilson and Emerson Shauger finished with two goals apiece. Wilson notched the team-high eight draw controls.
