Box Score WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - Three members of the Hood College women's tennis team were in action at the first round of the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships at Kirby Park. 

Singles

• Katie Cautero (Hackettstown, NJ/Lenape Valley) dropped a first found match to Messiah's Kasi Conjack 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles. 
• At second singles in the opening round, Cori Mark (Bel Air, MD/Bel Air) came up short against Stephanie Untermeyer of Stevens 6-0, 6-0. 
• The Ducks' Polina Odintseva defeated the Blazers' Lauren Sheffler (Williamsport, MD/Williamsport) 6-0, 6-1 in the first round at third singles. 

Doubles

• In an opening round match at first doubles, Cautero and Mark were upended by Messiah's Conjack and Kiersten Strohecker 8-5.
