Maddy Dillon (Baltimore, MD/Patapsco) scored two goals to lead the Blazers to a 7-1 victory over the Ferrum College Panthers on Saturday.

How It Happened
- Kylie Roessler (Tewksbury, NJ/Vorhees) scored to earn the 1-0 lead over Ferrum off a Chiavetta assist after she corralled the rebounded ball off the goalie's pads at the 11:09 minute mark.
- The Blazers scored the second-straight goal about two minutes later when Hannah Sobchak (Eldersburg, MD/Century) found the back of the cage after receiving a pass from Frost on the penalty corner change to extend the lead 2-0 over the Panthers going into the second quarter.
- After a lot of back-and-forth action, Ferrum broke through the defense as Jenna Theron scored an unassisted tally in the 23rd minute to bring the score within one 2-1.
- Hood earned a penalty corner in the last 30 seconds of the second quarter which allowed Olivia Sobchak (Eldersburg, MD/Century) to score off another Frost assist to extend the lead back to two 3-1 going into the third quarter.
- With a little less than four minutes in the fourth, Hood netted two more goals. The first coming from Julia Cencetti (New Market, MD/Linganore) from a Frost assist at 41:47 then a Hannah Scheibach (Owings, MD/Northern) tally at the very end of the third to earn the 5-1 lead.
- Dillion secured the 7-1 win for the Blazers scoring both goals for the fourth quarter the last one being assisted by Baxley at 54:14.
