FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's basketball team dropped a 60-52 final to visiting York (Pa.).

How it Happened
- Hood scored the first five points of the game to jump ahead early in the first four minutes.
- Savannah Wilson connected from behind the arc to give York (Pa.) its first lead of the game 12-11 with 2:55 left in the first. Bradi Zumbrum made two free throws with seconds left to put the Spartans ahead after one 16-14.
- Taylor Brenneman drove through the lane to score and gave the Spartans their biggest lead to that point 24-17 with 5:10 left in the second.
- Tiffany Manning (Randallstown, Md./Western Tech) scored four quick points to reclaim the lead 31-28 with one minute left.
- Alyssa Hocker knocked down a 3-pointer right before the first half buzzer to send both teams deadlocked at 31-31 into the locker room.
- The Blazers rattled of the first seven points of the third quarter to take a 38-31 lead with 6:05 left as Watkins-Harvey made two key lay-ups in the paint during the stretch.
- York (Pa.) answered with a 7-2 run over a four-minute stretch to come within two, with the score 40-38 with 2:37 left in the third. Clouse's' two free throws gave Hood a 42-38 lead going into the final quarter.
- The Spartans had connected on back-to-back 3-pointers by Hocker and Taylor Burda that pushed York (Pa.) out in front 46-44 with 7:41 left in the final period.
- York (Pa.) hit 6-of-8 field goals in the final 10 minutes to pull away, outscoring the Blazers 22-10 in the final period.
